Our Mazda 3 2004 does as well. I hope that the Lancers have improved their understeer ,I had a 2003 model and it was very poor when trying to push it through a corner .Not that the OP's mother would probably be concerned,although,I do no of one friend of mine who is a granny and loves her Subi GT Forresters !!!
