Default Side Body Mouldings

Hi all,

Does anyone know where I can get some Side Door Mouldings for my Focus? I have seen some cars with color matched mouldings or close enough and they look pretty good, I had some pr^&K open their door on my car which left marks but no dent. I tried to buff out the marks but Ford paint is way too thin, now I have a light spot which I would like to cover up and stop the Ba#$%^& from doing more damage.

Thanks
Noel

not sure where to get them, but they actually have lugs that go into holes in the doors.
I'm sure you can cut them of tho!

My door mouldings (LR) are colour coded, but they are the original black ones I had spray painted

Hi Champ, I realise these are in the UK, but postage will only be about GBP3-5.

Cheap way around it if these are what you're looking for!

I had mine fitted and painted by the dealer when I bought the car, they are genuine Focus ones that are just stuck on with glue. Your service centre should be able to order some for you but they will be black and most likely cost a fair bit.

Any aftermarket ones look garbage in my opinion.

The LS came standard with side moldings but they were deleted on the LT. I'm pretty sure the door skins haven't changed though so you should be able to fit those.

As stated above the door mouldings on the LS are glued and have clips that fit into holes in the door.

Whether you cut off the clips and just rely on glueing it on or cut a hole in the door to fit the clips you should be able to make em fit.

Mind you the side mouldings didn't stop a small dent on the rear passenger door from some disrespectful twerp throwing his door open.

Thanks guy's , I tend to think the aftermarket ones are a bit ordinary looking too. I did find these Clicky Clicky and they look the goods, are these like the original Focus parts?

My Focus is Silver so I guess the gray will look OK on Silver or I could paint them I guess

They look very close to original, I'd go for them. Painted would look much better if you can do it properly.

Getting them on straight and perfectly aligned on both sides will be a fun job!
