Default headlight list

I remember reading a list AU headlights somewhere and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

The right direction? Maybe your Ford dealer? Just tell them what model you have and they might be able to guess the right part.

Do you mean the globes mate?

If so I can help with the XRs:

High beam: H1s
Low beam: H4s
Parking lights: BA9s

Cheers,

Ian

Non-XRs are the same, but parkers are T10s instead of BA9s.

I thought he may be talking about the different bezel colours available.

Yeah sorry guys should have explained it a bit better. Monty's right. Someone had explained which models came out with the various colour bezels that where made. Can't remember if it was here or the T-series area but it was a fairly comprehensive list. Tried searching but to no avail.

Did you want the list, or do you want to paint the bezels?

I'm looking at what the options are at the moment as one of my light is fairly crazed so looking at replacing them with new ones. So whichever way I go it will be new lights, not sure wether to go new chrome ones like the originals or something different, maybe black bezels. The thread I read somewhere i think said T3's had black bezels but I'm guessing they would be super pricey new. Maybe have to get just series 2 or 3 lights and paint them.

IIRC, from Ford, the T series headlights were around $800 each. Standard ones are more like $400 each. Best bet is to get a set off FTG, pull them apart, paint them body colour or black, and then fit them.

Yeah JC, rang the local dealer and got some prices.these are what they quoted over the phone.

T3 lights are $600+ each aorund $680.

Series 3 $275 each

Series 2 Fairmont $360 each

After much searching I still can't find the thread I read,So from memory and some digging this is what I've come up with. Please correct any info that is not correct anyone.

Series 1 and 2 had silver bezels with clear indicator inserts but not sure about the series 1 Fairmonts

Series 2 Fairmonts chrome bezel and amber indicator inserts

Series 3 had a darker silver bezel? not sure on the inserts.

T1 and T2 had body colour bezels

T3 had black bezels

As i said I stand corrected on any info that is not right.

I'll check the wreckers and hopefully be able to find a nice set.
