The Blue Oval's performance arm is expected to unveil a 335kW supercharged V8 version of its GT Falcon, supplemented by a low-boost 315kW entry-level model. An even more explosive 375kW model, which would revive the iconic GTHO nameplate of the 1970s, is expected to follow within 12 months.

At the lower end of the scale, Ford's XR8 is expected to debut early next year with a 307kW naturally aspirated V8 that will comfortably shade Holden's current SS Commodore's 270kW output (260kW in automatic guise).

What's the bet the GS and GT have eye watering torque from 2,000 to 5,500.
This has to be the worst kept secret ever but a good one if you're a Ford fan....

And what's the bet that a simple flash tune will give you another 100kW without the blink of an eye.

Debate is raging whether those power values are correct, what the max Torque and plateau-range will be, whether these will be intercooled or not, whether there'll be any drivetrain changes or whether FPV will offer bigger tyre sizes - and what the 0-100m and 400m times will be. Personally I'd like to see more of a focus on track-times versus drag times, but that's just me.
