Faith schools - Do they have a place in society today?

Personally I don’t believe a man can die then come back to life a few days later. I also don’t approve of such illogic’s been taught in schools, but each to their own I guess (unless your story book is different to mine!)

Just clarifiying here as there has been a misconception of my post. I am not comparing state and private schools here and I am not suggesting that private schools be closed down.

I am referring to faith based schools only and not religious education. I am asking that if we removed the faith element from these single faith schools would this not be beneficial to society and remove barriers rather than create them?

No matter how the thread is dressed up, its theme is religion and whether there is a misconception or not it is a thread based on religion and race which is a subject that doesn't belong on AFF ......
