Default How much for AU2 XR8 rims & tyres

Looking at the current price for four AU2 Tickford rims, with caps, minimal gutter rash with 90% tread left on 17" Dunlop SP tyres.

Any idea, guys - as I am looking at purchasing, but just need a going rate to negotiate/squabble with.

Ive been thinking about selling my set. As you described but with shagged Dunlops.
Was going to ask around the 450-500 mark.

$500 with reasonable tyres is a reasonable price. Anything more than that and you might as well buy new and aftermarket.

i bought two of ebay a month back, both with mild gutter rash, one with a big chip but only through the paint, i paid $70. They were cheap cause of their condition!

Don't ignore the cheap gutter rashed ones, you might be able to get them restored and spend less than what a perfect set would cost!

I've got 4 I am thinking about selling - vgc, good tyres. Some minor clear coat peeling but you cant see it unless you really look for it. I was hoping for about $600.

I bought a set with bad rash. About 60% (rubbish) tyres for $250

I think rash really creates a massive difference in price point here. The wheels look terrible with gutter rash so you can't expect top dollar. Especially when everyone else wants a good set in perfect condition!

I would think the spec of tyre would also make a massive difference...
