the guys that told me about it grew up in the area and they were saying that apparently the old property owner was a bit of a horder of any old ford gear.

from what they had heard was that the old guy had died and the sons were clearing up the farm. ?????

they only knew of the place but had never been to the farm.

i bet there will be a line of "experts" checking the engine number on that "gtho" engine. lol.

the web site for this auction has been upgraded with a full itemised list of all sale lots and photos of most items.

there are a fair few panels for X series falcons as well as early holdens etc.

worth having a look.

I notice only a couple say suit resto, I wonder who made the assessment? And if accurate, how bad are the others? I know of a few properties up here that have 30 or so cars, farmer buys a new Holden every year and parks the last one in the paddock, there usually isnt much left of them.

Still worth a look. These things dont come along very often, not so many in one place anyway.

Some old guys collection?
Probably had thousands of offers to buy these over the years "Nah mate, not for sale, I'm going to do it up one day"
Then they just end up quietly rusting away until they're no good.
