Default Thermostat

Hi guys,

Recently I had some work done to my car by you guys which included a thermostat replacement/upgrade.

But I think there is something wrong with it. Any normal driving except highway driving the temp needle will move 1/4 of the way up and then the engine bay fan will kick in. This happens alot.

I could be driving on the highway and the needle will be sitting at 1/4 then get off the highway and stop at the traffic lights, give it 1min and it will move about 1/5-1/4 up and fan kicks in, cooling it down about an 1/8 and fan goes off but it just moves back up again and fan kicks in again after about another minute.

I was in a Maccas drive through the other day, normal driving before I got to the drive through, and during the time it took to order and get my meal, the fan had turned on/off 4 times. It was in the space of about 5mins. It was 14 degrees outside.

Today was the first day it was warm and the fan was on 50% of the time I was driving. And it was only topped 29degrees.

You guys agree the thermostat could be the issue or something else?

Thanks

drop by and we will look at it.. it might have something to do with the raditator or thermostat.
The fans are set a little lower to keep engine temps down.
We also can put the old thermostat back in but you will loose some power..

Call me tomorrow
