Im trying to build a web community for Fishing, Camping, Boating and 4wdriving and would love some help from those interested Feel free to take a look at www.fishoz.com.au and sign up if you like. Excellent site mate, scales very well and looks great. Quick question, are you still developing it or is this the live site now?
Only thing I noticed is that the login details float across the image at the top. Perhaps they could be aligned near the search box? Signing up as I type this.

Yeah it is still very much under construction. I am trying to remove the add as the main reason of making this is that I am sick of the fishing/boating sites, and the rules and adds they have all over the place. Hopefully It will build pretty quickly with a little help

Another thing I noticed, where is the donation section?
As your site grows, so does the bandwidth demand, and even if you only get a few dollars here and there it all helps to pay the bills Just a suggestion though

Yep cheers for that.
I have that ready to impliment but I dont want it to seem too greedy at the start as the whole focus to making the site is to provide somewhere for people to go without adds and advertising throughout the site hampering the benefit of the site. I am lucky to have quite a few websites on a big server so I have plenty of bandwidth up the sleeve for now Good suggestion though. Cheers

Too late with the advertising, some bonehead has decided to begin spamming about particular "toys", slowly filling up the forum with the same thing. Bout 20 odd threads now and counting. Im watching it slowly fill up....
Maybe getting extra admin/moderators who are on when your not so they can combat this sort of activity. Its going to be quite a cleanup i tell ya...

Haha yes, good old spammers. Thats the problem with such a small forum, its hard to get people keen to moderate and so forth. But anyone whos interested Im happy to give permissions.
