I am assuming it's for the XC?

XC-250

XC-006

XC-041

XC-077

XC-1977

Some or all of the above may not be available anyway, but you get the point.

The others don't seem to mean much sorry, they just look like standard issue plates same as every other car, if you need to attach a translation to the plate
no one on the road will get it either.

I have XB-0740 on my '74 XB Falcon.

Having only 2 letters means it will have to be a prestige plate
which cost 2000! :|
I can only afford the $400-$500 normal ones which require 3 letters hah :(
QLD's way of doing number plates :(

Ok, must be different to NSW......same rate here for two letter and three numbers or two letters and four numbers.

Go for THE-77 then for sure, as it means something to your car.

IXC-06

IXC-77

Some more options, I am not sure on Queensland number plate configurations, but again you get the idea.

Genuinely LOL'ing at the moment!

Honestly. The 77 is a damn good choice. It has meaning to your car. A bit aggressive as I said. Its "THE 77" thank you. & You have mentioned on other threads that you may sell the car. In that case your plat is fix able to any 77 year model car, whether it be Ford, ***den, Valiant, Chrysler, or <insert make here>. That is a good idea for an investment should you sell the car & have no more use for the plate....

Because that combo is considered a "prestige plate" at $2395 or there abouts. It has to be a 3 letter/3 number or 3 number/3 letter combo, or 2 numbers/3 letters or 3 letters/2 numbers. anything other than that up here in QLD needs a prestige plate....

How about you save the $500 and spend it on making your XC just slightly less likely to fall apart when you drive it.

You seem to have far more than your fair share if "events".

I would like a 1 letter or 1 number, plate. I'd be willing to pay for one. Although I'm sure if someone was selling one they will be charging more then I could afford

Why would they even consider making it an option for people and then rob them blind for it?

Indeed! Glad I live in Vic where rego (and personalised plates) are cheap. Then again we get our eyes gouged out by dodgy speed cameras

*insert sweet secretary PR voice* "Because all the proceeds made from each plate goes towards road safety in QLD".

And I have to say it's being invested well, look at the Bruce highway, & Warrego highway. All the potholes are always repaired quickly, effectively, and never have a problem with those again. The truck tracks/ridges are w
Always repaired & when the road needs resurfacing it's done properly, efficiently, & as soon as it's needed.

So it's well used, roads are safe, all the work is done. Pigs fed, watered, & ready to fly....

Not sure about SA Riksta, but here in QLD after you pay the excorbitant one off fee for the plate, there are no annual fees for displaying them.
