Not yet guys as things have been very busy for me recently. Hope to get it finalised soon. FOr those who would prefer to have a flash box where they can reflash the ecu themselves then I suggest the products available overseas would be your best bet as the chip tuning that is developed is downloaded with out the flash program unit given to you.

Can you still tune a car that has a different product than yours?

Also would things like catback exhausts and high flow airfilters increase the power/torque output even more after your tune?

The car should automatically alter its power with the mods. I had my Polo Gti tuned and the performance parts added on (e.g. larger intercooler, air box, larger hosing, performance filter etc) thereafter made a difference in power every time without the need to retune it. Only time when it may need a retune is when you're running on much higher octane fuel e.g. race fuel and more significant mods e.g. larger turbo etc.

What did you mean by tuning a car with different products to mine?

I would be keen to see the results of tunes on these vehicles. Does their ECU log changes like the FG one?

No, unfortunately that is not an option. To be honest, I haven't heard of anything like that as yet. Would be good to know if its available. Would make life easier.

Hey guys, the final power figures for the tune is 95-97kw and torque is 159-164Nm. Let me know if you're interested. Price is $1290.

Yes, that's at the engine.

Don't have any power curves for before as I would assume power increases are compared to factory specs.

Bumping an old thread because this car is giving me the shits!

I'm thinking of burning a lot of money to cash out the lease and go buy the new Polo Gti.

I know it's my fault but even my wife is annoyed by its lack of power and she drives like a nana!

Well.... although it would be nice to have a 2ltr motor in the WS, it has'nt but for a 1600 motor "there a little wippet" i can honestly say mines got plenty of go cant complain ive just upgraded my induction with forced air induction ie running a fan directly inside a calibre 3inch silicon hose off the AMM and got pretty good gains in the top end especially 4th 5th gear and thats still running stock filter i will add a K+N apollo to it for more gains.I no modding a car should'nt have to be done but its necessary to get the best from the motor.

Oh forgot to mention with a 30klm increase in a tank of fuel.
