Quick question... are the cruise control modules interchangeable between six cylinder and 8 cylinder AUs?

I am pretty sure the end of the cable itself is different in how it attaches to the throttle body. Not 100% sure on that though and as for the wiring I have no idea but I would think it will be the same.
