Hi Folks
My ZD was parked in a driveway on the weekend in the sun which has caused the indicator switch to warp and lose contact with the base plate which now means my indicators only work now and then. This is the second time this has happened since I rebuilt the car. Has anyone else had this problem and are there any tricks to avoid this ie heat shield in the column or an alternative part supplier other than rare spares. Cheers |

geez how hot did it get where you are?
i think maybe its just past its life and thats that, either NICE products will make a replacement or as you said rare spares.

Hi Gav
This unit is only about four months old. The day wasn't all that hot but the car does have an all black interior which may contribute to the problem. I'll check out NICE and see what they have. Cheers |

Have you been out to Superoo ? I get most of my parts there, it's well worth the drive. There is not much Tony and the boys dont know about old Fords xk to xd. Plenty of parts new and second hand and friendly advice.
