Rear brake line delema BAxr8 ute

hi have some braided lines for thew rear of an xr8 ute. No brackets mounted to them. Can i cut the the old line away from the bracket and use a washer and circlip to mount the braided line to the old bracket. the line has a groove like the front lines.

Yes that is what we used to do and still do on some of the utes.

Sorted. Knocked brake lines out of brackets and filed 1mm extra diameter then fitted Brakequip lines with same clips as used on front brakes. Can you tell me if you stock these brackets for future reference.
