Does anyone know the rule for the battery being in the boot for drag racing ?
Have been told i cant just use the plastic box that its in and that i have to secure it with a metal bracket |

Im pretty sure you will need to seal the panel behind the rear seat, to create a firewall.

You only need a firewall if you have a fuel cell in the boot, and yes mate you must have an isolator if the battery is moved from it's standard location.
It must also cut the engine and all power when off. Basicly the charge wire has to go to the +ve on the battery and you pull power for the car from the switched side of the isolator not from +ve on the battery.

Interesting.... circuit racing you must have firewall if battery is in the boot. Learn something every day
