First ever fine for speeding. Less than 10kp/h over.
i havent spoken to my son in 12 years for said reason, to much pain and embarrassment. hope it really works out well for you.

Had the opportunity to meet a new friend face to face who's also in the vehicle detailing and refinishing game.
went over during our winter so this year I get to enjoy two summers in a row.
a three month ultra cheap trip. checked out a tiny fraction of LA and then on to boise idaho for the remainder of the time

america was amazing. the food is better, less fattening and variety like you've never experienced before.

lost some weight this year, keeping it in the right range. did about 400 miles on a bmx bike during my trip. experienced IMAX for the first time.
Trialled new foods and went for a run in one of the most legendary muscle cars ever. Chevelle SS LS6 454 in red with black stripes.

I'd never been outside australia so I conquered international travel too.
America make us look stupid in so many areas. their classic and muscle car scene was insane. Idaho motorfest was huge with the whole city of boise shut down for a 2000 car cruise. mega cheap power and water bills.

found out just how much we are getting ripped off over here

I really feel for all of you who have had such a poor year. all we have control of is this very moment. so do it well in 2011 and rise up. every day is a brand new start.
don't waste time on stuff that achieves nothing. spend more time on family and friends, stronger relationships, expanding your horizons and make the most of each day

2011 will see my friend come to Australia for the first time and my galaxy blue AU XR fully overhauled and back on the road after being neglected for 4 years sitting in my workshop gathering dust
yes america has cheap food, water, fuel, cars but there heatlh care costs a bundle.

I think 2010 has been a year of ups and downs...

The good:
- I got engaged to a fantastic bloke, gained a family in the process (who by the way are awesome, unjudging people).
- I quit a job that I hated, and started painting houses for a living, huge change from what I was doing, but a whole lot less stress.
- I got my dog back from my parents, it was a struggle, but my family is finally complete...

The bad:
- Turns out house painting is a lot harder than I thought (although I lost a s***load of weight as a result!! :P)
- My brother's kidney transplant rejected and he's now back on the list for another one
- Work hasn't been overly busy, so it's stretched things a lot, particularly over Christmas (luckily I have a fantastic supportive family )

I hope 2011 is a lot more fruitful than 2010, perhaps I can finally have my wedding! :P

Good luck to everyone for 2011, I hope it brings you everything you've dreamed of!

I do gotta say that it was him who caused the fights. He couldn't handle the fact. He has come to realize that I am still the same person. There's nothing to be embarrassed about.

I went over there this year too. And yes, I do agree with you about the food variety over there, it is much easier to find a diverse variety of food over there compared to here in Aus.

2010 was HUGE year for my partner and i. it kicked off in feb when i took karly to Tassie, she had only been out of vic once to the gold coast when she was a girl, i then took her to brissy and the gold coast to meet my dad, what followed was us moving to outback WA and we have now settled in Darwin. in the space of 1 year i have been able to show my girl every state in Aus except NSW.
We got our new best friend, Our Great Dane Luca who is now 6 months old.
i got a new job in Darwiun which i am loving! and to top it all off we got engaged 3 weeks ago

will be hard to top this year but my plans for the new year are to concentrate on ferthering my career and paying off my massive car loan!
