Would the warranty for my 2009 Ford Fiesta be voided if I change mehanics apart from the ford mehanics?
I'd like to hear out your inputs, you fez owners.

Bit more info needed to as what exactly you intend to do but if your talking engine mechanics then yes any change will void your engine warranty.

Scheduled Servicing on your car can be done by any proper mechanic and your warranty will be fine.
But Ford dealers will try to blame your mechanic if you end up with a warranty claim. Even if its not their fault. |

Pretty much a normal servicing in fact.
as they charge high price as I am in a tight budget, but I know other trusted mehanic is cheap and good - warranty is the only thing I am worried about. My car is 18 months old.

you can get whatever mechanic you want to service it, as long as its the same parts/scheduled service routine in your manual.
Ford and other dealers have for years been threatening people with false truths about warranty void issues. I've never had my ute serviced by Ford. Apart from the 2,500kms 'good faith' service.

The only issue i found was when i did go back to ford in 2008 for servicing they did advise that there was an upgrade/repair required on the car that would be carried out for free at the service. If i had continued to see my friend mechanic i would never have known about the fault as it was not classed as a recall notice and only ford dealers were advised............ since then i have been going back to the dealer.
