Smile Fiesta 2009 accessories

OK....what aftermarket accessories is everyone adding to their Fiesta? I'll start the ball rolling with a ........ dashmat. :>)

I still need to flatten it out a bit and the flash made the dashboard blue again but you get the idea.

Interesting Fiesta Girl. Each time we have bought a dash mat, the thing has been shaped around the airbag. See the one you have seems to have an indented "pop out" section.

You also need to add where you bought it and how much. Looks good, will definately get one.

Already a thread that's almost the same as this? Meh...
http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11264712

Getting seat covers made up with the exact same fabric and pattern as my Soho seats. They did my aunts Swift and it looks fantastic. Not fake and taky, like most after-market seat covers appear. I'm not a massive dash mat fan myself.

Well...not really. That ones talking about mags, turbo, NOS and other "fanciful" items. I was talking about more "realistic" items.

I've always had sheepskin covers on my previous cars but with airbags in the seat, that makes it a lot more difficult.

Oldsoftboss you are correct. There is a rectangular section of the mat cut free and only "hingeing" on about 2cm of the top middle section. The colour is also darker than the "flash" picture shows.

There is a mat currently on Ebay from Reef City Ford (search under "Ford Fiesta WS") but I found mine more cheaply at another EBay store for $46.99 plus $12 postage. I've since found I could have got it a couple of dollars cheaper again by getting it direct from the manufacturer - www.shevron.com.au/mats.html

Thumbs up

Good find Fiesta Girl, the manufacturer appears to be in Perth too which would save a few dollars in postage. Would you recommend it? Does it slip about, or is it fixed down in some way?

Good find, appreciate the sharing of info

i was looking at the dash the other day and thought, how would someone make a dash mat for this. But seeing that actually looks quite good.

yeah looks as good as a dash mat can be and still practical for the passenger airbag, I thought the cutout's simple design was a good solution when I saw such setup in my fren's Mazda few years back.

He popped his airbags few weeks ago and the cutout worked a treat:

Really dislike dashmats. Ruins the sharpness of the dash and makes it look really tired.

They really aren't necessary with modern plastics.

As long as it works for you though.

I want the keyless go setup but they don't offer it on the Zetecs.

Hi, I'm trying to protect the rear of the back seats from being bashed by stuff in the boot. Has anyone got a good idea? I thought about rear seat covers but can't find any 60 40's to suit in Australia. It must be bugging a load of Fiesta owners that there is no carpet on the back seats. Can't understand Ford's miserly thinking.

I would go to an automotive interior specialist ... they should be able to carpet the back seats for you, and match the existing carpet with something very close ... it shouldn't cost more than a few hundred dollars

Anybody know of any places that would do foglights? Or the chrome accents on the front grill that I've seen on a few (not all) zetecs??

Surely somebody would do them aftermarket?
