Trying to find out info on the gearbox thats in my au xr8.
can anyone tell me what it would be? its a series 1 4spd auto cheers

Providing the original box is still in the car. I never tell anyone what thay have until I see for myself. But we can tell you what it SHOULD have.

definately original box. bought it as a bog stocker with 115000ks and log books (as a write off haha) and there was no mention of the box being changed at any time

If its definitely the original box, then its definitely the above mentioned BTR 97LE.
