As a resident of Swan Hill i can tell you it is not uncommon for anything not tied down to be stolen. Also annoys me when i have spent many hours volunteering, making sandbags for the town. I'm not going to get flooded as we live just out of town on a very high point but seeing as others are, i have spent a lot of time sandbagging. Unsure of when we are going under as they keep moving the date foward, its now expected for this Sunday. The lake 20 mins out from us has just been closed. And Kerang which is 45 mins away is flooded badly.

thanks mate, i love that CITY & raced my street stock speedway car on the new track in the early to mid 90's never got a chance to race on the old one near the river!

Not good for all the volunteers that helped with doing the sandbagging efforts!

so does that mean LAKE BOGA is closed? loved having a dip in that lake or is it the kangaroo lakes? what ever it was called.

Well it looks like VICTORIA is going to get some big storms & heavy rain this weekend, i can tell you we have been getting heaps of rain last night & today, this is looking bad for the residents still trying to work on repairing the last flood damage 2 weeks ago, & what about the big inland water that was still moving very slow to SWAN HILL i would say after day it will be moving faster by now?????

this is all due to a dying cyclone ANTHONY not YASI that will come next week & hit us again.

Our governments will have to think very carefully about what goes overseas, as we will need it & we will probably have to import more?
As our food bowl areas got so much damage 2 weeks ago!

The dairy farmers were just starting to gather more stock as there was an abundance of food for this summer, but that summer meal for the cattle & sheep is all gone to mulch rather than feed, even the croppers that got there harvesting done lost most of the top soils to plant for there autumn crops, yes it is looking bad indeed, they only ones that will be looking good with all the crazy stuff happening with the floods & cyclones are going to be the builders, as they have soooooo much work to do for years, & the tradies will be happy for all the work
