Is this for a Forte/Futura/Fairmont? If so, then you can get the chrome ones on ebay for around $200-250, or I have set of black ones (similar to T3s) for the same price.

Dead easy - remove the grille, then undo the 4 bolts that hold the lights in, pull/wiggle the light out so that you can undo the wiring and remove the blinker bulb holder, and then just reverse the procedure to fit the new lights. Russell W has posted up some diagrams of how to remove and install all AU lights - here:

Twilight.com.au is a website for a company, that makes headlight conversion kits for all model falcons, except BA. Hope this helps.

The twinlights for the AU are even worse than the standard forte lights, IMO. They're stuff for EBs, Eds etc is good, but not for AUs

All I was suggesting was an alternative, they don't look like "lebo lights" with loads of plastic chrome, anyway all they look like is the front of an XR AU, but with headlight and driving light reversed, they may not be to everyones liking, but you can't please everybody.

AU:Project - Mechan1k should confirm this, but I'm 99% sure they are 235/45/17s. They would have to be to keep the rolling diameter legal for an AU.

Spot on ... the standard 235/45R17s that all the XR Falcons (on 17"s) run. I managed to pick up a Dunlop SP3000A (with about 85% tread) as a spare for $80 ... needed a plug though ... but who cares ... just gotta put it on the other Territory rim and mount it under the back of the ute now. The Territory steelies are VERY HEAVY though ... with rubber on them ... you really need to heave to pick them up. Good thing though for me, especially when loaded up ... no wheelspin when booting it cos of that extra weight. But I find that the higher load rating wheels and tyres (tyres are load rated at 96 - for a 17" is high) ... it handles heavy loads very well. BUT ... slow on the acceleration though. They are a pain to clean too ... cos the dirt gets in behind the wide spokes ... it's hard to explain ... but water sits behind this sill and ditr collects there too.

Thanks Mechan1k and JC-XRWgn, Have been looking at the many sets of steelies laying at work from new car sales, wish I could get my hands on a set of the alloy GHIA Territory rims they look nice. I hadnt thought about the weight of the rims though. How badly the weight of them affects acceleration is my greatest concern.
Dirt in them doesnt worry me got 40kms dirt every day to work. OzJavelin; The Altezza lights conform to ADR requirements from memory.

I will be modifying mine soon to accomodate HID projectors (BMW headlight internals). Won't be soon ... but it's a future project for me.
