In China it's more like 800k for the Gallardo. Much more expensive over there, there's just a lot more people with WAY too much money..
I'd be a bit ****ed off too but i don't think i'd go that far.. Although with a car at that sort of price i wouldn't be too happy finding my car damaged in transport and then NOT fixed and handed back..

Bit of a shocka!
Could have given the car to chairty by several means. Wasn't there a follow up that he was seen driving a Great Wall around?

I see where he's coming from, paid big $$$ for a lambo and got ford service... I'd smash the shed out of it to to make a point if I weren't super poor...
I once brought a $28000 French built Mercedes sold car, and the level of service I received was second to none, amazing, even crownies in the fridge in the waiting area and muffins and stupid bottled water and much more all free, ford made me stand outside for 15min next to my car, cos I couldn't wait inside as they don't like people who know more about their car in the service department. Maybe he was told, could not fault, if I hear that once more arhhhhh!!!!! LOL |

I don't think I would be able to do that to a $200 car let alone a 650k one!!!

I have to also say 2nd to none. Best dealership and salesman I have dealt with. The salesmen was not pushy like most of them are. The restroom made a 5 star hotel look cheap. Endless supply of free coffee, biscuits, water and all that. Comfortable waiting room that was nice and cool since it was about 40 outside. Been back for servicing and was still a great place. It was good since you hear so many stories about crappy dealers. |

Something tells me this stunt has more behind it. Having said that, if he can afford to do this to one of his cars, he can also afford to replace it with some other exotic without his bank balance raising a sweat. |

Blatant destruction of anything is frankly immature and really pointless in the end. We all have disappointments in our lives - my gorgeous yellow beast sits in our garage - loved and undercover despite any disappointments along the way. Hell, I hope his wife meets his expectations!

People might say he has too much money, but its only the jealous people who say that.
The thing is, what transpired met his aim. They smashed the one of the worlds most desired cars with WORLDWIDE publicity, on CONSUMER RIGHTS day. Mission Accomplished. Sometimes it takes such an act for an Ivory Tower Company to sit up & realise that they did something wrong, whatever that may be.......

+1 to the notion that who cares... His money he can do what he likes. He might be stinky rich but the reason was good enough for him.
It's just a car...if it was an old classic then a beheading should take place...

Hate to rain on the parade but it wasnt a 650k car at all.
He bought it secondhand, not new. Read the Herald Sun, they have the 'correct' details instead of the sensationalistic journalism regurgitated above. |

An angry Lamborghini owner has vented his frustration with the Italian brand by employing a team of sledgehammer-wielding men to destroy his car.
The Chinese businessman was reportedly upset his circa $650,000 Gallardo supercar still wasn't up to scratch following a service at an authorised mechanic. That's funny i'd like to do the same with 90% of the Chinese junk we get here that some of which likly came from one of this guys factorys.

Nah that would've actually been harder for him.
When you've got money to inherit, mates in the right place you have you're foot in the ring, and once it's in, it's not going back out, you can only climb back in. Businesses milk the consumer as much as they can before they send the consumer bankrupt, giving them zero chance to invest, no one can afford a second house let alone thier own, but say hypothetically they win a second house at the lottery, it's not hard at all to turn that house into 10 houses as you can risk it and with property almost always succeed. Businesses operate on manipulation, deceipt and lies. Greed. Scummy traits, that alone says enough. Main issue is, once you have a slight advantage over them ain consumer, you wil lalways definitely turn it into a major advantage. Capitalism would be perfect if everyone got an equal chance but they don't. A perfect example would be an autistic, they're work driven and intelligent but have no social skills, they'll work harder than most but because they have only themselves and no exec mates hanging around you won't see any of them in high positions.
