Biggest Ford Cruises?

Anyone know what would be the biggest ford cruise in aust or vic?
not including those so called 'cruises' at the AFD but an actual on road cruise.

From memory our club biggest cruise was when we went down to Queenscliff a couple of years ago,the FPV & XR club of Vic which we combined with the HSV club of Vic. It was around 60 vechicles,it certainly was an awesome sight all these FPV & XRs and HSVs,the only problem is to keep together after a while.

The biggest would have to be the Ford 60th anniversary cruise, I think there was something like 2,500 cars and the line streched for over 15Km or it could have been longer. I think it was called the Ford Retro run, organised by Ford. It started at Ford HQ in Broady and went to the Discovery Centre in Geelong. I think it was also the opening of the discovery centre. I was there with my EB and it was huge...

Fords 75th anniversary cruise was huge in 2000, I don't know how many cars were there but the line was massive down to the proving ground from the Broadmeadows.

Yeah.. I was there and it was HUGE. Don't know how many vehicles attended though. The cruise was led by...., a T-Series. The car was Mark Taylors T1 TS50 (build 001) and was the leading car on that cruise. Was a awesome sight seeing all those Fords.

Ummmm not quite... The lead car in the actual cruise mentioned(from Broadmeadows - You Yangs proving grounds) was Allan Moffat driving his Bathurst winning XW Phase 2, followed by Bowdens Ph4. Mark Taylor was involved in the event, being part of the south bound convoy that ran from Brisbane down to Broadmeadows in the lead up to the 75th anniversary celebrations.

Actually I think it was the 75th not 60th anniversary cruise that I was refering to.
There were 2 cruises, one to the You Yangs and then the one to Geelong the day after.
I went on the one to Geelong. I have a video about it, I will check the details and update you all tonight.

I just checked the numbers, 2504 cars and the line was around 32Km long.
It was the 75th not the 60th anniversary..

There's footage of it on a DVD called "FORD Australia 75 Years"

I think around 6000 people attended the cruise, maybe someone knows for sure.

On the DVD it says 85,000 people, but that would be counting spectators aswell.

Sorry, I meant the amount of people actually taking part in the cruise.
