I'm currently thinking of putting a 302 or 351 in my cortina.
What I want to know is what is required and the difficultys to do this Cheers Adam

auto or manual ?? windsor clevo
it will fit under a 2ltr bonnet need a bronko sump to fit the cross member and the engine mounts from memory they prob wont cert. to do 351 these days as think you can now only step up one engine size eg 4.1 to 4.9 i ran the clevo with the single rail and found it easier to fit the motor and box to the front cross member with suspension n tyres n all fitted the lowered the body back on to the cross member over the motor most use the windsor with the auto as the windsor narrower and easier to fit and the auto easier to set up

yes still (as money n time permit) doing the rebuilding the zh fairlane with a clevo 400m 4v heads injected whipple blown with aode 4 speed trans to a 9" ....... we'll get there eventually just remember don't be afraid to try something new. gearbox not really worried about, and the motors i would use which ever is more easy to do
