Well people, im beginning the next stage of research on my Fiesta Mod.
Picked up my Fez last Wednesday and I LOVE HER! But I am finding that I dont know a whole lot about tyres like I know other things about cars. Right now I have (on my CL) what appears to be 15'' continental (Too dark to go out and look at the make at the moment but ill do that in the morn) tyres. Now when it is time for me to replace them or even a bit before, I am going to put different tyres and some alloys on them. I need some advice on what is a really good sports tyre to put on them that is a decent price. Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks in advance, -KBoukes |

The stock continentals are damn good road tyres already. You going for some track day tyres?

Can 2nd the Toyo TR1's (had them on a previous car).
Personally I love the Hankook S1 Ventus Evo's ... great road tyre and good grip when you are really pushing the car hard through some fast bends. Haven't once slipped in the wet/bends/at speed ... around $130-140 each ... |

I'll second the Toyo Teo Plus. That said, isn't the Conti a good tyre?

the continentals are pretty good as it stands. So ill probably drive those down a bit. Im in a CL so im looking at getting a different diameter and some nice alloys too.
As for track day, id say ive got a little bit of engine modification before i go to a track day, lol. |
