I joined up early in 06 after lurking for a while. The reason I signed up was to discuss UD's and the possibility of them breaking Oil Pumps...

I remember some great arguments here.... Club ownerships, Club Territory battles, the Elitist Thread, the T Series fiasco, E Series circus etc etc. All a bloody great laugh I must say.

i'm No: 2,119,244. Is there fair dinkum that many accounts been created over the 6 year period??

Also, I dunno if this has been mentioned here, but when sorting users into join date, there's a guy called Ascendant, http://www.fordforums.com.au/member.php?u=32612 who apparently joined in 1970.. fair innings!! I'm assuming Fordforums.com.au was powered by v.smokesignal technology back then

I don't know the full story except there was a falling out of owner/ AU mods of the old site.
Hence the new site was born and good job too.

User No 531 here, I remember getting a email saying come on over from the FF.com site. Don't post very often but I'm here a good chunk of the time.
I use the forums as an info tool more than anything else, more keep my fingers still and be thought an idiot than fire away at the keyboard and remove all doubt!!
Memorable threads, User Ralliart went on to tell us about his encounter with a toll bar that we later found out was a tow bar!!!
Also good ol' Roger Cordia was funny as too!!!
