My fiesta is now out of warranty and I wouls like to change the gearbox oil, does anyone know where the drain plug is, I have found the filler plug.

If I recall correctly, there is no drain plug as the gearbox is a "sealed for life" type (never supposed to change the oil).
May have to get a pump and suck it through the filler? Not sure ... |

I have a suspicion it's like a boat engine.
There is no drain plug. You have to pump it out from the top? |

Geelong Festy, they are talking about an engine oil change with a reference to a gearbox oil change when he had the car serviced. What I want to know is where the manual gearbox drain plug is, if there is one ???.
The filler plug is behind the gear linkages which is behind the plastic cover. |
