Someones obviously put a bit of effort into it, sorry about the photo quality. Looks like someone has grafted a HJ/HX/HZ sedan with a ute & added dual rear wheels.

Is that on Main's Rd near Sunnybank? I think I've seen it in the past but thought my eyes were playing a trick on me. Looks well done.

I don't know how true it is, but apparently the guy who built it had 3 trailers stolen from him before he came up with this idea |

There was an article in AMC i think last year.
A company was offering to modify them back in the late 1970s. I think there was a picture of a Stateman? and the same type of ute as pictured above. Pictures of the article appeared on here in a thread somewhere.

Its funny, I remember them having an old CRT style 12 TV's etc. You would think today with LCD's to pop from the roof with DVD's and playstations etc they would be more popular. I cant figure todays kids out. Bloody kids with their girlie hair and 'rollerboards' and MDF bicycles and pants around their knees. Pull your bloody pants up and get off my lawn. |

I saw a unique beast in Northern Sydney Sunday evening.
Was traveling the opposite direction at 70km/h so no chance to get a pic. It had an old Chev / Ford front end similar to this: And had this grafted on rear end: Was bright yellow and the car carrying bit would have been at least 18foot long. Very nice, but it did look awkward / out of proportion a little. Wish I got a pic of it. |

@Yellow_Festiva
Not this one, by any chance? I'm pretty sure someone put that picture up in another thread somewhere on here. And I think it was in Street Machine a couple of months ago, too. |
