What's the pint in doing washers, that still doesn't make them legal, auto level is needed too, and even then..... If your smart about it you won't get done, adjust them properly and use a decent temp and your right

the point in doing washers is to keep them clean if you go through a heap of bugs....
agreed would need leveling as well, not to mention also would need to be inspected and tested which isnt worth it....

ive had hid's in my nc since about 04 and never been looked at twice by police...

I have them in my bikes and if bugs could be watered off it'd be great, I clean my headlamps every time I operate the vehicles, before I jump in just wipe over them, a bare hand is enough to stop light scatter unless they are covered in guts, but on the bike I just use the glove, it's mainly road grime that causes the beam scatter

The halo/angel eyes are too small for the size of the headlight. Good effort, but they kinda look...

....wrong. Bulging eye balls come to mind.

If you can do something like the pic's below, now that would look pretty damn good.

And here's a pic of projector headlights that would look good on a Territory or BA/BF Falcon.

Total cost was about $260 if you put them in your lights .but if you are going to do it Get the generation 1 kit as its shorter and be prepared to grind your H4 fitting a little ( The top pin on an h4 ford light fitting is set on an angle about 10 degrees off centre you have to grind it and the other recesses until the top pin is straight up and down ) H1 you have to grind a 20mm hole in so no going back once its done. Ps i charge $100 to do a set

I get the projectors from the retrofit source because of their reliability
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...roducts_id=141
The projectors in the link are the FXR projectors at $315 a pair . You will only be able to fit most projectors into your high low section in your shroud because the high beam section is too small . In the pics i supplied i am using the morrimoto mini projector . I charge $100 to do a set on top of parts cost . any other questions please post here or PM me at my671fordv8@yahoo.com.au and just put au Hid lights in subject

This is what they say on their web page

With all complete retrofit kits from TRS: You get freebies like an extended warranty, shroud centric mounting rings, ballast test leads, bi-xenon emblems, how-to information, and personalized customer support. Not to mention you save money when bundling everything together.

Interested in buying bulk? We support small group-buys, and also offer general wholesale and drop-shipping services.

Buy from the company with the Internet's best reputation for unbeatable prices and killer customer service. The Retrofit Source Inc. is trusted by car guys world-wide, and if you find a better price elsewhere, we'll match it.

Might be something we can organize, I'm sure there will be plenty of interest.

One question, do you use two (2) projectors in each headlight like the

red AU in post #35, that looks sick.

Those lights in post 35 are basically all custom lights apart from the lens and the back . the only projector that will fit into the high beam reflector on the AU is the chinese /ebay gen 1 projector
You can do quad projectors but you need to completely remove the reflector and mount them on the back housing of the light and if you dont get your measurements right it will look like its looking in 2 different directions
Quad projector kits in your lights at $300 a pair before you start work is not going to be cheap

Red AU in #35 looks really good though, I would spend the extra moola for

a set like them.Hang on is that $300 a pair of projectors, ie $300 X 2 or pair

of complete head lights with four projectors ie two in each light???.

$300 a pair is one for each light, you'd be looking at at least double that to get 2 projectors in each light (2 pairs)

To answer your question yes the pics in post 28 are my first Quad projector set up . They are around $250 for the 2 sets of projectors and are a big jump in lighting quality however they are set up for the US so the cut off is on the wrong side . That is why im upgrading check out Alibaba.com if you are interested and there is cutting and grinding of the original reflector required .I charge $100 to make a set using your lightsonce you have paid for parts
