Well thought i might share,
Today is the day that i suit up! and go for a 6 lap race in a V8 Race car. My Wonderfull girlfriend purchased this event for me for my birthday and i cant wait to go. of course i will be choosing a ford as my car. the race track is at eastern creek. i must say, as i have never been in a v8 nor driven one it will be a completely new experience for me. i would be lying if i said i wasnt nervous. The package i got includes, 6 laps of unlimited speeds around eastern creak, a video of my day, some merchandise and photos of the event. Once i get the video i will see if i can post it up. Anywho. off i go.

given you havnt responded, we could possibly assume one of two things, a) you are too excited to post, as you have ditched the focus, and ended up purchasing a 5.0 S/C V8? or b) you still havnt got any internet coverage back, on the way back down from your high!
Hope it was fun... would be interested to know what your times were... (if they recorded them! |

Ah, thanks for the invite! No just joking. I assume it's with the good people from The V8 Race Experience? If so, I hope you got "Nitro". That's the one that I got a ride in recently.
Nerves are good but you'll get the hang of it no doubt. Remember HAVE FUN!!

depends on the instructor i suppose. my guy was happy for me to take it to 200. but another friend of mine said that the instructor told him to back off at about 190....from what i experienced they are happy for you to give it some stick as long as you stay within your limits.

the ride was a bit awkward - the seating position i was in made the helmet press against the roll cage so it made me drive with my head sideways the whole way.
