This was his response: thanks for the mail, i really appreciate.about the transfer of reg , i was informed by a sail coulique here that your reg is not valied in NT so i think you will have to cancel the Reg as my wife will Re-reg it after delivery. In other way have given my details below for your reference. waiting to read from you so i can go ahead with the payment. PS;Smyth Crisell Robert....DOB.....8th July 1970....DL..4199694. 32 Hatt Street ADELAIDE RIVER - DARWIN – NT It was quite entertaining at one stage, but soon got boring. When I was selling my T3 TS50 I got heaps of them. They have no idea what the car is (and couldn't care less).
One wanted it for his aged father in Asia as a surprise gift!

Had this recently selling my clubsport:
Thanks for the prompt response.. I am ready to buying it now for birthday gift for brother in-law and i am at sea at the moment as i am a marine engineer and due to the nature of my work, phone calls making and visiting of website are restricted but i squeezed out time to check this advert and send you an email regarding it. I really want the car to be a surprise for brother in-law so i wont let him know anything about the car until it gets delivered to him, i am sure he will be more than happy with the car. I insisted on paypal because i don't have access to my bank account online as i don't have internet banking, but i can pay from my paypal account, as i have my bank a/c attached to it, i will need you to give me your paypal email address and the price so i can make the payments asap for the car and pls if you don't have paypal account yet, it is very easy to set up, go to www.paypal.com.au and get it set up, after you have set it up i will only need the e-mail address you use for registration with paypal so as to put the money through. I have a pick up agent that will come and pick the car up after i have made the payments... Had to send this back..... Hi Jim – I wish you were my bother in law, so nice of you to buy him a car! He will love this vehicle as it has the black paint colour and also the wheels are specially ‘rounded’ for maximum traction in the wet. I must ask a word of caution as is your brother in law an experienced driver? This car is very powerful and produces many kilowatt hours of power, made especially so as it has the special HSV flux capacimator fitted as a factory option at no cost to the dealer network. Also, where does your brother in law live? We would need to consider in the delivery arrangement as the car would need to be picked up at my place of work which is at a government office? I must be careful disclosing the location. Do you see that this may inconvenience your cause? I hope that you can answer my requested inquiries as I want to be sure as a duty of care that the car is in the control of a well trained driver as the power is something else. Can I also ask you to get a Quote of Insurance before you buy as in the hands of young men and the inexperienced sometimes the cost is too high and then the sale falls though. Got this back.... my brother inlaw is very good in driving,he in is from victoria,so let me have your paypal email address for the payment |

I had a "cold" SMS with no return number saying "we are about to open a new import business in the USA and we want to specialize in importing Australian cars. We need an inventory of cars as demand For the Falcon is very high here in the USA, we are prepared to pay double the market value of all vehicles sent, but we need you to pay us via western union money transfer the shipping costs, let us know if you have any Ford Falcons for sale at present"
or something like that - they all aim to get you to send western union money xfers to some ******* with the promise of vast returns, if I want to throw money away I will spend it on cigarettes or alcohol not give it to some pecker from god-knows-where

We got so many oil rig worker emails from a Bikesales add a few months ago that we had a lot of fun telling the late comers they were too late.
Best of all tho was that we strung the first guy along for so long that he got p****d off at us!! |
