hi,ive got a au2 xr8 200 kw,if you accelorate fairly hard in first or 2 gear it cuts out out for a moment and you can hear a noise from the front of the engine,im thinking its the harmonic balancer,does anyone have any other suggestions?.if put new plugs and leads in it today,so that eliminates those.

clean MAF first as it costs you nothing. Also common is the ol' coilpacks.

ok ta.il clean the tb and maf,as for the coil packs,there only 6 months old,so you wouldnt think there playing up.
