Default Mondeo MC - won't 'listen' to husband!

It seems we have a car with selective deafness towards my husband. He uses the voice commands and it doesn't even acknowledge his commands or that he has even spoken, yet I can say the same thing from the passanger seat and the car responds.

Any ideas on what we are doing 'wrong'? I don't have an issue with it, but my darling husband is a bit put out.

Pitch/volume of his voice?

Oh well my husband will be happy to know that it's not just him, that other cars have a selective hearing for one spouse.

I found it just as easy to use the buttons/knobs.

Margaret stopped listening to me, so I had to take charge!

ROFL! DH has given up too ... but every now and then he tries to trick her and see if she'll listen, but nope.

She's a car with attitude.

He could try wearing a pair of jocks a size or 2 smaller than usual and see if that does the trick

Had the same problem since I had the car for 3 years. Then on the weekend I turned around towards the side window while putting my seat belt on and she answered my command, faced the front and it was a 40:60 that she understood my voice turned my face to the side never missed a beat go figure

Voice works for my wife and daughter but has never worked for me in three years.

As someone said it's easier and faster to use the controls.
