how it races on the track, is how it drives on the street, nothing suspension wise is touched. Last edited by prasac; 31-07-2011 at 06:26 PM. |

dan_b thanks mate, some great pics there. love the one of it going wheels up over the 60', had to give the photographers a shot
how did u end up going in S/F? which car was yours? the sorta lime/green Falcon? i saw it drive past a few times always caught my eye. clarkey117 it's getting better, alot of issues which clouded what should have been a great weekend. Joe said he would be happy with a 8.20 and he got it. i was very happy because it took me only 1 wheelstand to work out how much boost to leave with 18psi = wheelstand, 16psi =1.31 60' tiny amount of wheel spin, 5500rpm & 14.5psi = perfect 1.285 60' PB gregAust thanks mate. |

reckon hayley and grant got some good pics too. yeah got the acid rush XR8 with the CMS stickers on back 1/4 panels. Got pipped at the post in the first round by about a door length with a 13.496 @ 103.56 but i'm happy with the whole weekend of racing, it just went so smooth (and quick with the schedule as well, credit to the track staff )

that's racing, next time u could win by a door i might join ya next time, been a while since i took the aurion out, gotta practice those lights, last time i went out i only cut 1 light under .1... this weekend we just went out to try and run a number and not even bother with trying to race, just let everyone go first and then he can go. Grant loves it when Joe goes up in the air, means he gets cash what's funny is a mate that crews with us, his in-laws own Badger Photography you'd think he would go thru them but 20 years of racing at WSID i think he is just so used to buying with Grant |

they did go thru it quite quick, they usually guesstimate everything breakages, oil downs etc. woohoo yeah baby back in the APSA Top 10 Modified Street Blown cars in the country, sitting at number 9. the 240ci sits up there nicely with all the big cube turbo and NOS cars Mod Street Blown is for factory style suspension cars. that are either blown, NOS or turbo. thanks Corzza
popped down to vince's last night. unfortunately over the weekend i couldnt check the logging, there was an issue between the logger and my laptop (windows incompatibility?) there was some serious revving issues happening. u can sorta hear it in the video of the 8.20 run just before it chages into 2nd. revs plateau and drop, then pick up again. we think its the gearbox or possibly converter. those are the only 2 things that have changed since, last meet out. |
