Default AC/DC release wine!

Seriously.

Quote:
AC/DC wine, produced in collaboration with Australia's Warburn Estate, will hit Woolworths shelves this week. The line of wine is inspired by the rock band's greatest hits, including "Highway to Hell," "You Shook Me All Night Long" and "Back in Black."

The photo above shows the AC/DC wine packaging, which features the AC/DC logo and vintage photographs of the group's iconic members. Do you love AC/DC enough to buy its branded wine?

I am going to order a few cases of each. If it's terrible it might die off quickly and be worth smoething, like Duff Beer. If it's nice, I will drink it while listening to Bon's back catalogue.

Warburn Estate is the brand that was selling their wine cheap to Woolworths/Dan Murphy's over the last few years. At the very least they will be collectors items, at the best, you may even be able to drink it.

It probably is, just put in bottles. I suspect it is not going to be top shelf stuff and you will probably pay for the bottle more than the contents.

I would have thought AC/DC would select bottles of Bourbon, scotch etc.

I had a look at these today as it was my boss's birthday and he was bought a set.

They only cost $14.95 a bottle I think...cheap and nasty stuff will be inside for sure but as a collection item, they weren't too bad.

I'm having a glass now. I have to say my expectations were low, and they were met - already starting to develop a district Brian Johnson gargle - yeah, it's fairly harsh but one for the collectors for sure.

These are $14.95ea in Woolies liquor, saw them today as I was buying $2.50 worth of dry red for a ragu I am making. I didn't want a whole bottle of red as I don't drink it, let's hope the 250ml foil bag I bought doesn't ruin my ragu.

A lot of people are snapping this stuff up quick-smart hoping it will be a limited run. It would be a shame if it became a standard line.

Perhaps that is because when many of were growing up and ACDC were at the height of their career before they became retro, the majority of those that listened to their music were bogan in every other way. At least that was the way it was when I was at high school.
