Default The Ford Family Tree

I stumbled upon a very informative site that lists all the Falcon models
from the XK to the FG, with release dates and some brief info/specs
on each.

Thought this might be handy for anybody wanting to brush up on some
history and details of the Falcon.

Here is the link, from Go Auto:
http://www.goauto.com.au/mellor/mell...d&model=Falcon

Another one is go to (google) falcon facts, click on links, and then click on Mark's site under Falcon links general. Very informative, also gives performance figures.

Sorry mate, not quite as computer savy as you, and can't post links unfortunately.

On the page in your browser youre looking at now, up near the top you should see something that looks like http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11340590 (thats the address of this thread, that bar is the address bar), go to the web page youre referring to and again look at the address bar near the top of your browser (Explorer/Firefox/Opera etc) for its particular address. Highlight the full address with the mouse, press Ctrl C (Hold down Ctrl, then push C with the Ctrl still down, this will copy it), come back to your post screen and click on the field where you normally type your responses, press Ctrl V (this will paste it there), done. The system the forum uses will automatically make it a hyperlink as it recognises it as an address after you submit the post.

Sounds complicated when typed out, buts its really simple to do after you do it a couple of times.

Edit: ahahhaha, the swearfilter blocked the url but still links it anyway. This may be deleted being a competitors site. Not sure what, but stands to reason there would be a reason the admins have selected that site to be filtered.

I don't think that site knows of Fairmonts except their reference to the death-knell

09/98 was when they were available to buy. My old BA XR8 was an 08/02 build but cars were not available until 02/03
