The power of my SR2 is disapointing to say the least, OK I went from an EB XR8 to Laser, but damn!
Been contemplating easy mods to both increase performance and efficency (the SR2 cost more a week to run than the XR8). First I tried to get better supply of cold air to the air box by removing a section of rubber between the rad support and the bonnet. Did nothing. Last weekend, removed inlet piping and box. Fitted a pod directly to the MAF. Must say, midrange has cetainly increased (as has the sound). Will fill it up this week and see if the fuel consuption has bettered.

FYI - unsure if pod related but I have a dip in the curve.
Ran it up on the dyno, 76.9KW at the tyres. Slight dip at about 5000. I'm very happy with the output.

Still drives great. But not spending money on it, I never use the bloody thing.
