Default air bag icon flashing/on

as above is this because the plug that is part of the seat belt set up is unplugged as because i've removed my passanger's seat for racing tomorrow>?

It will have logged a code for the pretentioner being removed. It will store that code till you clear it, when you put it all back in it will still have it stored even though the light is out.

A diagnostic trouble code/DTC. The Airbag module will log a DTC because it cant find the pretentioner anymore and throw up the light as a warning to get it checked out. When you fit the pretentioner up the light should go out but it may still have the code stored if you scan for DTC's at a later date.

Not really an issue but if you have an Air bag light come on later make sure the codes are cleared and rechecked before you replace anything as to wipe old codes.
