Default App Inventor

Here is another reason I think Google and android are better then apple and there ios. I bring you App Inventor from android http://www.appinventorbeta.com

I have made a reaction game app and there tutorial app which is just a cat that purrs when you tap your phones screen. I am in the middle of creating a Ford quiz game.

If your like me and wanting to create games and apps but have no idea about coding or are a coder but want to try something different give it a whirl

Why would they need to?

Google makes enough money each time you search for something through their website. Or everytime you watch a video on Youtube.

I've spoken to some businesses that say they only way they're making money is by paying for Google Adwords.

So back to your Apple dungeon please and come back with credible info.

Certainly does. Android version 2.2 and better also supports HTML5.

Taking a little while to decipher.. I'll go on what I think you're trying to say.

Apple's lead in market share? Android has surpassed Apple's share and Androids handset activations are reportedly 2 to 1 at the moment. The 4s may change that for a short while but the fact remains, the smartphone OS of choice is Android.

BHDOGS as Rod said you may want to do some research before throwing those sort of claims around................

Any way this was not supposed to be a android vs crapple debate....

With the winding down of Google Labs, Google has discontinued App Inventor as a Google product and open sourced the code. Additionally, because of App Inventor’s success in the education space, we have partnered with MIT on the MIT Center for Mobile Learning, which will will be actively engaged in studying and extending App Inventor. App Inventor can now be found at http://www.appinventorbeta.com/ .
From googles own page.

No longer supported by google but taken over by someone else. It was due to be abandoned so good news it's going to live!

Thanks for sharing the link
I've bookmarked it to have a play when I have some more time.
I'm a recent convert to Android, now owning a Samsung Galaxy SII and very happy with it as I haven't found anything that I want to but can't do with it. I'm watching my 1y.o. boy sleep via a PTZ IP camera and security software on it as I'm typing this lol.
I previously owned several Symbian S60 phones, and a Windows Mobile 6.1 Omnia. Although I hacked and cracked each of them to get them to work close to the way I wanted, I haven't had to with Android because of it's open source approach.
