Default Modding XRs but not GTs

I was thinking that you see a few (cosmetically) modded BA XRs but not GTs (apart from maybe a set of aftermarket wheels). Why? Sure the GTs look horn how they are (XRs aren't bad either!) but we've all got individual tastes, so why not personalise them a bit? I know one forum member (Shorty) has XY style painted stripes over the bonnet of his Citric GT. What about a different rear wing...such as a T3...anybody care to photoshop one? :

Are GTs not modified because that would be sacrilege to mess with a GT?

Or because they are so darn expensive in the first place people can't afford to mod them?

You can't improve on perfection so no point in modding?

I see plenty of modified GTs, probably the same amount as XR8s.

you mean finding a TASTEFULLY modified HSV is a rare find.....??

seen plenty of monaro bonnets with fake scoops and VZ SS fake guard scoops on all sorts of VT-VZ's.....scariest was a VT EXEClol

i dunno, it's kinda a good thing that GT's arent being modified as much as XR's i think....
keep the GT's pure so to speak....

They are modded where it counts....... Performance wise!
Every 2nd GT would have at least exhaust mods, next would be CAI, Helix, & Edit.
Apart from GT lookalike stripes, what major mods are you suggesting XR8's go for that GT's don't?

Would agree. I just love my GT just the way it is visually. Being Rapid with black stripes with the Herrod quads out the back, it looks pretty over the top in a good way already. Anything else would just be a change for change sake. Only visual change I wish to make is to the ride hight and maybe aftermarkets wheels in the future as well. Even then I'm not too fussed. It's a GT after all.:
