Thumbs down falling apart

i was taking my mother for a leisurely sunday drive in her AU falcon, when there was a clunk then a whirring noise. i pulled off and the plastic front spoiler/splitter thing under the bumper bar had fallen off. it was rubbing on the tire/road. now only held on by one bolt, i pulled it off and chucked it in the boot.

It's a 10+ year old car. Things do wear out and become loose over time.
If you had driven it out of the showroom and that happened, then yeah I could understand being annoyed.

Perhaps you should go over it, or get someone you trust to go over it completely inside and out and check things out, then do some preventative maintenance where necessary.
I'm sure your mum would appreciate it.
