It is news to me and good news at that...
I have an EF with 331,000 kM's that has never broken down , has never had the head off , still on original transmission and diff and drives like the day it was bought . As I mentioned previously in this thread the way you drive and more importantly how you maintain your car will largely determine and influence how many trouble free k's you can rack up . I'm with a few others here in that million k Falcon owners would be a bloody long list , try the taxi industry for one good example , must be several thousand if not tens of thousands of million K Falcon cabs .

$1,500.00, for an Ex cab EL falcon, with an indicated 960,000km's on the clock.
In all it's patchwork yellow glory.....

Father-in-law has a 98 Rodeo with 880,000 kms on it however it spent most of its life as a courier ute so its like a taxi. Original engine, trans and diff however the interior is falling apart and driver door has had to be welded up a few times. His heel has worn through the floor now so you can see the road in the driver footwell.

A million km for a small car is still a freaky thing though. Can you see the hyundai's of the late 90's/early 2000's making it that far?

Just a Taxi driver... Not an expert! Did not know I needed to be an expert to contribute to a forum either...

You wont find anyone that loves their Falcon's more than me, but I am just honestly saying that I have never known one, that can legitimately make the claim that this Gemini can. Not saying they cant do a million clicks, I know they can. Indeed, I have owned one that had 600,000 km, but they need more than a faulty fuel filter replaced!

Can't remember that one but I do remember the "you and I and Gemini and Oo Ooo Ooo"

Now if it was a Falcon it would have got to the 1000000km mark by 1994.

Those Gemini's were so slow, although they'd squeal around corners really well. You didn't want to brake for corners because it took too long to get back up to speed again.
They were solid old things though. I borrowed one with rally prepped running gear but stock looking and it was a rocket, friend had a '73 351 auto Mustang and it was able to stay with him.
