Hi all,
I thought my springs were sproingin' but it is busted bushes on the IRS. I can't see any bushes but the bottom ones. I'm asking you all if all the IRS bushes should be replaced, requiring removal of the IRS module, or just the lower bushes that can be seen? I also would like a rough estimate for a full replacement please? Regards from Cespenar. |

Dont own a Falcon with IRS, but was told to look carefully at the bushes in the rear when buying 2nd hand. Its quicker apparently to remove the entire diff complete to redo the bushes and its not cheap...

Two-step Problem Solving Guide:
1. Sell your BA/BF/FG 2. Buy an AU (either live axle or IRS), and pocket the change. Enjoy many years of trouble free motoring. The AU's handling, steering and reliability are leaps and bounds ahead of the newer Falcons.
