Default New Zealand

Hey guys. In 3 weeks my sister and her partner are off to NZ for a holiday. They just wanted to know, what places to stay away from at night. Other than that they are sorted.

Provided you keep out of the suburbs dominated by Housing Commission and keep to the touristy places you'll be fine.....If in Wellington stay away from areas like Porirua, Cannons Creek, Elsdon and Titahi Bayas well as the central Hutt Valley (areas like Taita, Naenae, Stokes valley) and Wainuiomata.

Other parts of the Hutt valley , Lower Hutt & Upper Hutt are generally OK, with some areas middle class but the central part seems to have the problems with undesirables and always has done

The Noth Island is action packed while the south Island os 'Rancho Relaxo'

I spend 1 week in South Island relaxing, went to the southern point. There is a 'Moonshine' museum in Gore, went to the usual cities, etc.

North Island, well I drove from Wellington up to Cape Rienga and back. Two weeks is not long enough to do everything in North Is.
Naturally there is Rotorua (take a peg for your nose) but heaps to do. There is the the cities naturally.
Bay of Islands is real nice.
