Default Diesel fumes

Has anyone else noticed that when they open a front window in their diesel focus the cabin seems to smell a bit like hot oil? (even when the car is travelling fairly fast)

Default Re: Diesel fumes

Have not noticed but it may be the way the engine compartment vents hot air.
Mind you I always smell diesel on my hands from using the pump even if I never spill any. Stuff seems to stick to everything.
Mine had an oil leak from the turbo at the back of the engine that dripped on to the exhaust but you have to remove the plastic belly plate under the car to look.
