sourced the problem , its the clock spring in the air bag , broken when i fitted the xr steering wheel i didnt preset the clock spring , so when you turn the steering wheel , if not set it will snap the wires inside.

Well the warning tone for that is 5 sets of 5 beeps - not 3 sets of 5 beeps. Anyhow as long as you've found the problem ...

My Au Xr6 beeps at me if a door isn't closed proply not sure if that just on start up though ??

My dual fuel beeps all the time because it reckons I'm nearly out of petrol. When I did my cluster upgrade all the dials worked. I just ignore it and drive on. Sometimes I fill up to a 1/4 of a tank of petrol for some peace and quite.
