I'm looking into putting the AU v8 and an auto into a friend's ZC Fairlane. While I'm pretty sure the engine will fit, I'm not so certain the auto will fit the transmission tunnel. Does anyone out there have an engine and/or gearbox sitting on the floor they could measure up for me please? Looking for length, width, and mount positions relative to the bellhousing/engine join.
