Lightbulb EOI: Worlds Greatest Shave '05

Hi All,

As leukaemia effects me personally and I know it effects a lot of other people out there, I thought it might be a good idea to get FF.com.au in the action and have some forum members Shaved/Coloured (and of course sponsered!) for the event!

For those that are not aware of the event, here is some information.

Quote:
In the last six years, World's Greatest Shave to Care and Cure has raised in excess of $38 million. The Leukaemia Foundation holds the Guinness World Record for the Most heads shaved over a 24 hour period, set between 12 pm on April 16, 1999 and 12 pm on April 17 1999.

Between 10-12 March 2005 we will be aiming to break our own record.

60,000 people across the country will pledge to shave or colour their hair to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.

Money raised will care for patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders.

The Foundation sets an international benchmark in the care and support of patients and their families. We also fund cutting edge research into better treatments and cures through our National Research Program helping to improve survival rates for adults and children.

Anyone can participate in the World's Greatest Shave to Care and Cure, including individuals, teams, schools, community groups, clubs and businesses.
Go to http://www.worldsgreatestshave.com.au/wgs2005/howto/ for more information and How to do it.

I think it would be a great idea if we had people from each state on this site that we could all sponser and get before and after photos (NO PHOTOSHOPS!)

What do we all think?

You can shave goatees/beards/etc, but thats usually part of the hairdoo...

Anything other than that becomes something people arent comfortable sponsering

I'd love to do this, as it's for a very good cause, however I already have a shaved head. Maybe I could shave my eyebrows.

I'd do this aswell, but my boos would not be very impressed, last guy who did it was put in a cap for 3 weeks and a note was written that says we cannot "shave ones head or close to it" :|

Great Idea Andy.
I will sponsor you - Shame it is a joint account! Hehehe!

I dare you to colour your hair a RAINBOW of colours!
No shaving. Sorry dude, but I have to look at your head more than you do.

Where do you work?

I'd shave my head but there will come a day when i'll probably have no hair, then I'll regret it.
