Oh I think I might win on this one!
Few days ago I was fixing my mums door handle on her 1998 Corolla. I dropped a screw down behind the rear seats so I went digging for it. I found my miniture sized David Hassaloff (Spelling) that i lost in 1989! He used to go into a 1/10 size Kitt car that I had (Knight Rider T.V show from the 80's) So much win!

I had to resond to this one, in my first car , a 1974 2 door Escort (beige in colour, oh yeah!) , there was the spare wheel holding the seat up. I was 16 1/2 years old, and I didn,t no about cars. Well I brought the car from dealer and that was one of the surprises it had.

This is a classic thread... have had lots of laughs already.
Only thing I can think of was this figurine my Dad found before he got rid of his old XF Falcon. Lance, the Voltron figurine! Epic find.

The cardboard glovebox lining had well & truely expired long before I bought my Mk1 Cortina. Some of the glovebox contents had fallen to the floor. As the original carpet was also extremely stuffed, I removed & dumped. Anyway, removing the thick sediment of accumulated dried dust from the floor, typical of an older country car (not many sealed roads in the 60's out there) I found the small original id tag. One of many items not put back on after a non completed resto 15 years earlier. Very happy.

When I removed the back seat of my XC Coupe there was a HUGE dried up dead RAT entangled in the seat springs. The car had been in storage for 12 years god knows how long it had been there.

Not exactly 'found' but more discovered, and for a while puzzled.
On my Little Red German Taxi (1988 Benz 230e) Original 1980's car phone cable. MB's Electric/Vacuum central locking control box.
