Ok, so i have just put 19''s on my AU2 Fairmont and this is leaving me with 2 problems:
1- Its looking like a 4WD and needs too be lowered 2- I have a set of 5, 15 spoke, Ghia Wheels, fairly used condition (no tread) So firstly i want too lower it with KING SPING SL's with SHOCKS and if needed a CAMBER KIT. But i dont wanna be paying through the roof (i just want it done so suspension bought and fitted same place) , so im wondering what price should i be looking at for: -Springs (king sl's) - Shocks (fairly cheap brand, just for looks, Munroe GT's???) - Camber Kit (if needed) all fitted to the car. Secondly i have the set of 5 wheels, as mentioned above, i just need a rough ball park figure of what i should be asking, because i know there nice wheels and they suit alot of fords, and too be honest i didnt really wanna part with them but i have no room so they have to go. any help on either subject would be appreciated. |

keep the wheels, because they will be worth far less than the 19's when you go to sell the car

I neve needed a camber kit when I Put SL's in mine. I used kings but have since put tickford springs back in the rear and Eibach springs in the front.
Shock wise I have KYB excel G's in the rear and BOGE turbo shocks in the front. I'd steer clear of munroe's personally but if your going to go SL's MAKE SURE YOU PUT SHORTENED SHOCKS IN!!! they'll last longer and ride better. |
